Somewhere, over the rainbow.

By Connie Talbot.

Somewhere over the rainbow
Way up high
There's a land that I heard of
Once in a lullaby

Somewhere over the rainbow
Skies are blue
And the dreams that you dare to dream
Really do come true

Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?
Some day I'll wish upon a star
And wake up where the clouds are far behind me
Where troubles melt like lemondrops
Away above the chimney tops
That's where you'll find me

Somewhere over the rainbow
Bluebirds fly
Birds fly over the rainbow
Why then, oh why can't I?

If happy little bluebirds fly
Beyond the rainbow
Why, oh why can't I?

Blister the size of Mt Everest, and as watery as the Pacific Ocean, and as omg-i-wanna-burst it-able as giant rolls of bubble wrap.

Argh! And I have to wear proper shoes by Thursday!

Take care...

The services will be held in Dansen's house, (#74, SS4D/12). His father will be cremated on Sunday.

Drop by if you can. They'll appreciate the support.

More bad news.

Dansen's father passed away at 5:45 this morning. He was involved in an accident two days ago, and was badly injured.

2008 is not a good year.

update: It will be a Buddhist funeral, and the ceremonies will start tonight at 8.30pm in Danny's place. Not quite sure where it is, but according to Edmund it's the same row as the Caltex in KJ/SS4 area.

PIKOM PC Fair 2008

The things I do to save money.

Productive, the past two days.

Day one was for scouting prices and buying shoes. Damn could have saved RM15 from the shoes, but oh well. What's done's done.

Day two was for buying a webcam for mummy and my darling printer. Damn the printer's heavy. Imagine little ol' me lugging it all the way through the halls, onto the jam packed LRT, and back home, through the rain. For those of you who've been to my place before, walking back from the station isn't tiring, but walking home, in the rain, carrying a laser printer, a bag, and balancing a collapsible unbrella to shelter both the human and the machine is very, very, VERY tiring.

But RM349 for a Samsung ML-2010 laser printer with the usb cable and a full toner thrown in with the in-box starter toner is just too good a bargain.

Off to the shower now.

edit: It's Sunday, and I just came back from the PC Fair. Again.

The printer's USB cable was missing. =(

llama llama duck

for cheering me up.

here's a llama
there's a llama
and another little llama
fuzzy llama
funny llama
llama llama

llama llama
llama llama
llama llama

i was once a treehouse
i lived in a cake
but i never saw the way
the orange slayed the rake
i was only three years dead
but it told a tale
and now listen, little child
to the safety rail

did you ever see a llama
kiss a llama
on the llama
llama's llama
tastes of llama
llama llama

half a llama
twice the llama
not a llama
llama in a car
alarm a llama

is THIS how it's told now?
is it all so old?
is it made of lemon juice?
now my song is getting thin
i've run out of luck
time for me to retire now
and become a duck.

edit: April 14th, 2008: I've been listening to this everyday. I think even 5 times a day. Never fails to smile no matter what's on my mind.

He's gone.

Andrew has passed on.

I shouldn't have bothered about the rest and postponed my visit.

I'm sorry Andrew. I'm sorry Auntie, Uncle. I'm sorry everyone.

Edit/ Update: There will be another memorial on Monday, April 7th 2008 at 8.30 pm at Andrew's place (Taman SEA, behind Peter & Jane Kindy, near the tennis courts). His funeral will be on Tuesday, 10am.

Andrew, I don't know whether there's internet connection where you're at now, I hope you'll get this.

I'm sorry.

I've known you for the past 13 years, and in 11 of those we spent a good part of each year in school together. Yet, I never gotten to know you. Everytime someone asks I'll go, yah yah I know, used to be from Taman Megah one ma. Now in DJ together ma, of course I know Andrew la. Yes, I knew you. But yet I didn't KNOW you. When I found out of your passing, I couldn't help but cry. At first it was becouse of a candle blown out, but then I understood that it was all planned. Yet I couldn't stop. I knew I've lost my last chance to say Hi Andrew. I'm not sure whether you remember me, but I'm from Taman Megah also. Seeing how you kept in touch with Li Lynn and all made me regret even more. I shouldn't have procrastinated, I shouldn't have waited for others. I shouldn't have kept the tak apa attitude.

I'm sorry.

Another update on Andrew's condition

Tysern went over on Friday and said that he's in stable condition at the moment, although he scared us on Thursday when suddenly his blood pressure went soaring.

Hopefully I'll be able to make a trip down to visit him tmrw. Offer to join me still stands.

Hospitals have generators right?

Becouse the power's been flicking on and off at my place. Twice in the past 3 hours, while I'm attempting to finish my assignments! Thank you auto-backup-every-5-minutes.

I hope it's not an omen.

Update on Andrew's condition

Edmund visited him in the hospital yesterday, and says that Andrew's still not out of the woods yet. However, the doctors spotted some movement from him, so everyone continue your prayers and hope for his speedy recovery.

edit: It's now April 3rd, 1.14 AM. Tysern visited Andrew in the Hospital last evening and said that there were no change in Andrew's condition. He is still in critical condition. I'm going to go visit him by this Saturday. Anyone wants to join me? Andrew, together with his family and friends, need all the support they can get.

Pray for him...

Andrew Yap's in the hospital. Yes, Andrew Yap from SMKDJ, grad year 2005.

He had an accident while working out and he fell, hitting his head on the floor. His brain shifted a little, but his condition was stable after the operation, though he was still unconscious.

However, the lastest turn of events sees Andrew's conditioning worsening, and he's been admitted into the ICU at the Damansara Specialist Hospital.

His brain cells are slowly dying.

Everyone, no matter where you are, please, pray for him. He's still at a young age of 20, and has such a long life ahead of him, if only he can pull through this obstacle. There may not be much we can do for him, or to ease his family's worries, but we can pray for him.

edit: No, this is not another April Fool's joke. This is very much real. I'm not so sick as to put these kind of things as a joke.
